Allsorts Challenge - Recycling

The Allsorts challenge this week is to " Recycle " its being sponsored by Letraset who have kindly supplied Aquamarker pens for the lucky winner

I've used lots of bits and pieces to produce this square - the card itself is from a cereal box - I then covered it with a page from an old book. I printed my main image on canvas and then cut round it and added this lovely little frame that is available for Crafty Individuals after I had inked and stamped it. I added a piece of old lace to the side and finished off with my wording

I used a page from an old book which I inked for my background- stamped the postcard and suitcase images and then added the paper postcard and tickets. Hope this counts as paper piecing there are 4 different pieces of paper on it

Sunday Stamper - buttons

For this square I used inked torn paper for the background. Stamped and coloured my main image - added my flower and leaf which I had added crackle accents too. To finish off I added my threaded buttins and an adage ticket

Zoe gave me some background papers that she had created a while ago - I've used a piece as backing for this square = I simply went over it with my brayer and added the wording

Alphabet Challenge /Three Muses Challenge

This is my square for this weeks alphabet challenge L is for Ladies and three muses challenge Fashion. I made my background with DS tape, inks and embossing powder. My image was cut from a magazine. I then added the feather and a couple of words - I really think she looks like she's got style !!!

Theme Thursday - Love

This is my square for the Theme Thursday Challenge where this week the theme is "Love" I covered my square with some old sheet music and inked the edges - I stamped my image 3 times - a bit off the page - the stamp was a freebie with the Craft Stamper mag. I highlighted the words on the music with Glossy Accents and then added a threaded button

Just did this one and it fits in nicely with the Sunday stamper challenge this week where the theme is texture/Feelings - there is plenty of texture on this square both in the background and the stamping on to tissue - and of course dreaming is a feeling

Todays Square - The thinker

Todays square is for the Sunday Stamper Challenge where the theme is "Men/charms" well if you class a bottle top as a charm it fits the bill !!! My background is an old book page to which I added my image again taken from an old book the thinking piece is polymer clay which I added the bottle top too containg his thaughts. I finished off by stamping the universe and inking the edges
